Why We Do This?
At Rainbow Surprise, our Food Drive and Community Fridge ensure no good food goes to waste, and no family goes hungry.

The Community Fridge
Our Community Fridge is open to everyone and completely free of charge.
It runs every Monday and Friday from 11am, operating on a first-come, first-served basis — so we recommend arriving early, as it’s a very popular service and stock can go quickly.
Thanks to our amazing team of volunteers, we collect surplus food from local sandwich shops and supermarkets to ensure good food doesn’t go to waste.
You’ll usually find a selection of sandwiches, pasties, and soups, with occasional extras like bread or fruit added to the bag, depending on the day’s donations.
This initiative helps us reduce food waste and ensures that surplus food reaches those who need it most.
